Sauna & Cold Plunge Waiver

1. Assumption of Risk

I understand that the use of a sauna, cold plunge, and related equipment involves inherent and significant risks.

• Burns, overheating, dehydration, heat exhaustion, heat stroke, fainting, dizziness, nausea, and loss of consciousness.
• Cold shock, hypothermia, breathing difficulties, cardiac complications, and other injuries associated with cold water immersion.
• Slips, trips, falls, cuts, impact injuries, and other physical injuries occurring on or around the equipment.
• Aggravation of pre existing medical conditions.
  Serious bodily injury, permanent disability, or death.

I knowingly and voluntarily assume all risks, both known and unknown, associated with my use of the rented sauna, cold plunge, and any related equipment.

2. Medical Acknowledgment

I certify that I am physically capable of using the sauna and/or cold plunge.

• Heart disease
• High or low blood pressure
• Pregnancy
• Diabetes
• Respiratory conditions
• Epilepsy
• Recent surgeries
• Any condition that may be affected by heat or cold exposure

I acknowledge that it is my responsibility to consult a physician before using the equipment if I have any medical concerns.

3. Release of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Washington law, I release, waive, discharge, and forever hold harmless Sequim Outdoor Options and related parties from claims arising out of or related to use of the sauna, cold plunge, transportation, setup, operation, injury, illness, property damage, or death, except where prohibited by law.

4. User Responsibilities

• Follow all provided safety instructions.
• Use the equipment only as intended.
• Do not use the equipment while under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
• Supervise all children at all times.
• Prevent unauthorized individuals from using the equipment.
• Immediately discontinue use if concerning symptoms occur.

5. Property Damage

I accept full responsibility for damage beyond normal wear and tear and agree to reimburse Sequim Outdoor Options for repair or replacement costs resulting from misuse, abuse, negligence, vandalism, theft, or failure to secure the equipment.

6. Indemnification

I agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Sequim Outdoor Options from claims arising from my use, use by guests under my control, violation of this Agreement, negligence, or misuse.

7. No Warranties

The equipment is rented “AS IS.” Sequim Outdoor Options makes no warranties beyond those required by law.

8. Emergency Medical Care

If emergency medical assistance becomes necessary, I authorize emergency responders to provide treatment and understand that I am responsible for related medical expenses.

9. Governing Law

This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of Washington. Any legal action shall be brought in the appropriate court located in Clallam County, Washington, unless otherwise required by law.

10. Severability

If any portion of this Agreement is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

11. Entire Agreement

This document constitutes the entire agreement between the parties concerning the rental and use of the sauna and/or cold plunge.
